From WBC Stage to ACMF: A Professional Dialogue on Coffee Excellence

The Asia Coffee Music Festival (ACMF) 2026 in Kai Tak has come to a successful close, leaving behind a vibrant atmosphere where music meets the art of coffee. As a technical partner for this year’s event, Foodgears was honored to contribute to this immersive experience, bridging the gap between world-class equipment and professional craftsmanship.

Champion-Level Craftsmanship Meets Professional Standards

A highlight of the festival was the demonstration by world-renowned latte art master Wei Hsuan Lee (@liwei_hsuan). On stage, Wei Hsuan utilized the Storm Tempesta, the official machine of the World Barista Championship (WBC) for four consecutive years (since 2022).

WBC’s selection criteria for equipment are among the most rigorous in the industry. The Tempesta’s exceptional pressure stability and steam performance serve as a global benchmark. For a master craftsman like Wei Hsuan, this level of technical reliability is the essential foundation upon which intricate, award-winning latte art is built.

Champion Baristas at Our Booth

Beyond the stage, our booth became a hub for coffee enthusiasts. We were thrilled to host two of Hong Kong’s finest latte art champions, Kwanjai (@kwanjai____) and Ashley (@dontmakelatte), who served as our guest baristas.

Throughout the festival, they used our signature Olait Full Cream Milk to craft every cup. Sourced from premium Australian dairy farms, Olait is a trusted choice in the local specialty coffee community. Its consistent quality allows for the creation of silky, long-lasting microfoam—the essential element for any barista looking to achieve precise, championship-quality results.

Pure Flavor: The Orlicoffeeworks Experience

Visitors to the Foodgears booth also had the opportunity to taste our very own Orlicoffeeworks coffee beans. Roasted to highlight the unique characteristics of each origin, our beans provided a perfect match for the precision of the professional equipment on display. It was a pleasure to share these refined flavor profiles with the public and hear firsthand the appreciation for our locally roasted specialty beans.

Supporting the Local Coffee Community

This successful event would not have been possible without the meticulous coordination by our partners, Colour Brown. Their expertise ensured that every competition and demonstration flowed seamlessly.

While the festival has concluded, our commitment to the coffee community remains unwavering. Whether through supplying world-class equipment like the Storm Tempesta, providing high-quality ingredients like Olait, or roasting specialty coffee at Orlicoffeeworks, Foodgears is dedicated to supporting the growth of Hong Kong’s specialty coffee culture.
